Weirded out by this crashing issue

I use this app everyday. I have been able to effortlessly track my spending for almost a year now. Really hope the new crashing issue from the last update is fixed soon. I need to use this app, like I said, everyday. How is it possible to fix a software bug only to create a more extreme one? One would think an update would be more rigorously tested before release.
