Cant sync on iPhone6

Love the app but cant get it to sync on my new iPhone 6. Keep getting "Couldnt get SSL ccertificates - Certificate Validation Error". Dont know if the issue is 1.6.0 or IOS8 on iPhone 6. Previous version seemed to run and sync fine on my iPhone 5S after upgrading to IOS8.
